To facilitate our start-up software development operations in Cluj, Romania, PGP Corporation is partnering with local experts at RECOGNOS Romania to assist with setting up business infrastructure and to initiate hiring a team of dedicated professionals
PGP Corporation develops award winning multi-platform security software to secure email, files, disks, and other media. Positions in Windows Software Desktop development play an important role in bringing about the implementation of products. This candidate should be adept at implementing Windows or OSX system-level programs, in particular those related to security, access rights, email, and disk and file system security. The candidate should have a firm understanding of advanced debugging techniques. These positions are located in our offices in Cluj, Romania and report to the PGP Site Manager. Descrierea postului:
•Maintain and develop new software features.
•Take ownership of existing software components.
•Have the ability to work with PGP Product Management to help shape the direction of product features.
•Think strategically. Consistently apply strategic thinking to systematically work through software bug issues that could impact few to many customers; their root causes and fixes, for different types and scale of issues.
•Write design documents and technical functional specifications.
•Work collaboratively with QA engineers on bug isolation and fixes. Cerinte:
•Completed or pending B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
•2+ years C/C++ programming in a Windows environment.
•Strong understanding of Windows or OSX internals, systems, and security architecture.
•Familiarity with Windows or OSX logon protocols/API.
•Experience with advanced debugging tools such as WinDbg.
•Familiarity with Windows or OSX access rights, delegation, impersonation.
•Understanding of networking, protocols, and threads.
•Familiarity with messaging protocols such as IMAP, POP, and SMTP.
•Understanding of message formats including MIME.
•Experience with version tracking software like Subversion, Bugzilla, and application building using autoconf/configure/make.
•Experience using SQL and a relational database such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Desirable Skills:
•Experience with PGP® software and other security products.
•Understanding of OpenPGP, OpenSSL, OpenSSH and other IETF security protocols.
•Familiarity with MAPI, Exchange Server, and Lotus Notes.
•Familiarity with security APIs such as PKCS#11, PC/SC, PGP SDK, BSAFE, or CDSA.
•SOAP/XML/XSLT Experience.
•LDAP and Directory Server Experience.
•Experience with building custom controls.
•(Highly Desirable) Experience with Lotus Notes C API.
•Experience with Windows or OSX driver and kernel programming.
•Familiarity with Kerberos.
•Prior experience with CORBA or SOAP.
•Experience with scalable, fault tolerant, highly available, distributed applications.
